C.C.

C.C. (or C2) is a mysterious girl who gave Lelouch the power of Geass. As a part of the contract for the Geass power, she told Lelouch that he must make her one wish come true. Her wish is not yet known however.

C.C. seemed to die in the first episode when she took a bullet to her head in order to save Lelouch's life, but she later reappeared in his home. Despite her seemingly detached nature, as highlighted by her inhuman name, she is devoted to keeping Lelouch safe. She has saved him on multiple occasions. Whether this is out of some emotion or solely due to their partnership and her desire to have her wish fulfilled is unknown.

C.C.'s origin is unknown. There have been a few hints to her history, such as the image of others branded with the symbol on her forehead, flashbacks of her being tested by Britannian scientists, and an image of her in what appears to be a World War I era battlefield.
