Shingiku

The Shingiku ghetto is the location where Lelouch gained the Geass and began his rebellion against Britannia. Using his extraordinary intelligence and Geass, he was able to escape from the Britannian forces and then lead a resistance group led by Ohgi to victory against Clovis' forces. The victory was short lived however, because Suzaku appeared in the Lancelot and destroyed the resistance forces. Despite the military loss, Lelouch managed to get near and kill Clovis who had ordered the destruction of Shingiku.
