BackgroundLittle is known of Choji's background. He is "just a little chubby" and will do anything for food.
Choji has done little fighting so far. He has used the Expansion jutsu that makes him a big ball, pulling his arms, legs, and head into his body. He then spins using chakra to get a high rotation and then rolls toward the enemy with crushing force.
During the second exam, Choji fought Zaku in order to protect squad seven. He nearly overcame Zaku when the sound genin attacked their own teammate. He then retreated with his team whenever Saskue woke up with his curse mark chakra. During the preliminaries of the third exam, Dosu used Choji's expanded body as a giant amplifier for his sound waves.
