BackgroundGuy is a diligent, cocky, and sometimes ridiculous character. His favorite student is Lee, who reminds him of himself as a young genin. He currently holds a winning fighting record of 50 to 49 against his arch rival and former team mate Kakashi, who is regarded as a good friend too.
So far we haven't seen Guy do any real fighting, just a few moves here and there. We do know, however, that he has developed a method for fighting against the Sharingan. Furthermore, his students tend to rely on taijutsu more so than ninjutsu or taijutsu. It also appears that he can summon a turtle. Leaf Hurricane Turtle summon
Guy gives special attention to mentor and support Lee towards the goal of becoming a ninja. However, this dream appears to fade when he is forced to intervenes in the Gaara-Lee battle. He also helps Kakashi fight off invading sand village ninjas. Most recently, he and the ANBU scare off Itachi from the Leaf Village.
