Shino Aburame

BackgroundShino is of the Aburame clan. They are known for making a pact from birth to a species of insect. The insects live in the host body and feed on the host's chakra. In exchange for their home, the insects allow the host to use them for any purpose. Naturally, Aburame such as Shino are compassionate towards bugs. Shino is not social, and he conceals most of his body.
Shino is an intelligent fighter able to use his insects in a manner of ways. He has been seen using bug clones as well as sending his bugs at the enemy.
Shino is a rookie genin along with Naruto. He is in a squad with Kiba and Hinata. Along with the other new genin, Shino entered the chunin exams. During the preliminaries of the second exam, he fought Zaku. Despite his injuries, Zaku managed to use both arms against Shino. Unfortunately for him, Shino had used deception and cunning to ensure his victory. During the third exam, he was suppose to fight Kankuro, but Kankuro dropped out.
When the chase for Gaara began, Shino followed Sasuke. Shino helped Sasuke by fighting Kankuro. He claimed that he and Kankuro had an unfinished match, just like Sasuke and Gaara. Despite his victory, Shino was poisoned. Near the end of the attack on the village, his father used his parasites to healed him by neutralizing the poison.
