BackgroundKabuto has taken the Chunin exam several years in a row; he failed six years in a row. Before his time in the academy, he was found as the sole survivor of the Battle of Kikyo Pass. He was barely alive among the enemy dead when he was brought back by a medical jonin. He was adopted by the medical corps' chief.
We have seen little of Kabuto's battles.
He is known to have used the following jutsu:
Kabuto has taken on several roles throughout the series. When introduced, he aids the Leaf Village genin and takes to Naruto. He later is revealed to be working for Orochimaru, and Orochimaru notices that Kabuto does not like him. After this, Kabuto attempts to kill Sasuke in order to stop Orochimaru, but Kakashi intervenes.
At the final exams, Kabuto uses his knowledge of healing jutsu to help Hinata. During the Attack on the Hidden Leaf village, Kabuto uses genjutsu to put the stadium to sleep. He later confronts Kakashi, but refuses to fight. After the end of the attack, Kabuto is shown with Orochimaru discussing the results. Kabuto speaks positively, as if he is happy about Orochimaru's loss.
