Village Hidden in the Sound

The Village Hidden in the Sound is the village founded by Orochimaru.

The nature and purpose of this village is still unknown. The only information we have is from Orochimaru. He has hinted as it being a tool to set the world into action and it's ninja as pieces on a chess board. Concerning his ninja he states that, "pieces must be sacrificed" just as Zaku is defeated by Shino.
