9: Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior!
Naruto's kunai is on target and he falls into the water. Zabuza is forced to release his Water Prison in order to dodge Naruto's kunai. When Zabuza sees Naruto's trick, he become extremely angry. He spins the shuriken that he previously caught to prepare to destroy Naruto, but just as he is about to release the shuriken, Kakashi stops the spinning with his hand.
Kakashi is out of his prison and ready to fight. Kakashi's sharingan causes Zabuza to gasp with fright. Kakashi now goes on to compliment Naruto's plan. Naruto then explained how he transformed into the shuiken as Zabuza fought the other clones. Another of Naruto's clones caught the real Naruto and threw it to Sasuke. Sasuke recognized this instantly and threw the shuriken in order to carry out Naruto's plan. Naruto is extremely proud of himself, but both Sasuke and Tazuna say that it was just luck. Sakura realizes that Sasuke and Naruto are a perfect team.
Zabuza then says that he was merely distracted when he let go of the prison. Kakashi then told Zabuza that he was forced to let go and that his technique would not work a second time. Sasuke and Sakura prepare to protect Tazuna while Kakashi pushes the shuriken out of Zabuza's hand.
Zabuza and Kakashi jump apart and we see Kakashi's sharingan close up. Zabuza begins a series of handsigns and we see Kakashi mirror them perfectly and at the same time. They both perform the Water Dragon jutsu. The dragons disrupt the water causing Naruto to be thrown around and sending a wave of water at the other three. The dragons bite at each other as Sasuke admires Kakashi's sharingan. Under the dragons, Zabuza and Kakashi are fighting sword to kunai.
Zabuza is reflecting on what has happened before; he knows that something is not right. He knows that the sharingan allows Kakashi to comprehend the jutsu, but he does not know how Kakashi mirroed them at the same time. "Could it be..?"
Zabuza backs away from Kakashi and beings to run in a circle and make other movements. Kakashi replicates them all as they are done. Zabuza thinks to himself "It's as if he knows what I'm .." and Kakashi says "going to next." Zabuza then wonders to himself "What?! Is he reading my mind as well? He looks at me with that eye" and Kakashi says "It makes you furious, doesn't it?"
Zabuza then yells at Kakashi for doing nothing more than copying like a monkey. They both say "You can't beat me with cheap tricks; I'll crush you!" This unnerves Zabuza and then he sees himself standing behind Kakashi. As Zabuza wonders what it is and how it got there, Kakashi attacks with the Giant Vortex jutsu. Zabuza is shocked by what he sees and blown into a tree by the raging water. Upon hitting the tree, Zabuza is hit with four shuriken. Kakashi tells Zabuza that he is finished. We then see the water receding.
Zabuza asks if Kakashi can see into the future, and Kakashi responds that he can and that this is Zabuza's last battle. Kakashi is standing above Zabuza in a tree with kunai in hand when the screen snaps away.
We see back to Zabuza who is falling. Then we see another shinobi in the trees. He says that Kakashi was right about Zabuza. Naruto climbs out of the water, visibly irritated. Kakashi jumps down to inspect Zabuza and finds no pulse. The mystery shinobi then thanks Kakashi for the help. He claims to have been tracking Zabuza for a long time for the chance to take him down. Kakashi reveals that the mystery shinobi is a tracker from the Village Hidden in the Mist.
Naruto jumps toward Sasuke and Sakura saying "a tracker!" Sakura then scolds him for not knowing what a tracker is because he missed the class. Sakura then explains that trackers are trained to hunt down rogue ninja in order to keep village secrets secret. Kakashi studies the tracker and notices, based on his size and voice, he is about the age of Naruto. This is no normal kid.
Naruto, becoming increasingly angry, runs toward the tracker. He then asks the tracker who he thinks he is. Naruto is angry that this kid could bring down Zabuza like it was nothing. He is upset that, in comparison, they are just fumbling around. He screams "How can I accept that!?" Kakashi then explains that even if he doesn't accept it, it did happen. He then goes on to say that there are kids younger than Naruto, yet stronger than Kakashi.
The tracker then goes to Zabuza's body and takes it away. Naruto then runs to the tree that the tracker was in. Kakashi tells him to let it go, but Naruto begins to hit the ground out of frustration. Kakashi grabs his arm and tells Naruto to save his anger for the next enemy.
Kakashi now says that they must finish their mission. Tazuna apologizes for the trouble and then offers to let them stay at his house to rest. Kakashi tells them to get moving, but as soon as he begins to walk he collapses.
