When they cry season 2

I'll ask this here since you're my favourite anime community  . Well, you're pretty much the only one but whenever I ask something on a different forum or 4chan about dubs I usually get the losers with the typical "Dubs suck. Watch subs," type answers instead of answering my question. 

Also, I didn't really know where to put this. It's sort of a request but I don't think the anime has been licensed yet so it's also sort of a discussion.
Anyway, does anyone know for certain whether it's been licensed or not? I read on yahoo answers that it hasn't yet but that was half a year ago. If it is out there, a torrent would be great!

I really want to watch the second season, the first one was so awesome. The ending completely confused me and I have no idea what the anime is about anymore lol. What did you guys think of it? Confused as I was or did you get it straight away? Apparently the second season sheds light on it so I really hope a dub is out there. The suspense in this show was fantastic. I watched the entire season in just a little over a day. Yes, I'm completely deprived of a life....

What you know, or what you thought you know of Season One is nothing. In Season Two they turn it all around and confuse you again. Then about the middle of it, you finally find out just what the hell is REALLY going on in the town.

So you honestly can't see Season One without watching Season Two, and you can't watch Season Two without watching Season One. You need to watch both to get the real story.

Only problem is, Season Two has never been licensed.. so there is no dub. You'll have to watch subs for Season 2 and the 5 episode OVA that follows.

In Japan they recently finished airing "Umineko no Naku Koro ni" which is "When the Seagulls Cry" or "When they Cry 3". Although this season featured a brand new story and characters. Though, again, no license, and no word of there ever being a dub for it at the moment.

That really sucks. I might just go ahead and watch the subs. I really want to know what's going on! I read on a forum that the dvd box set of season one came out recently so hopefully if the sales are good season 2 will get licensed. Here's hoping anyway.

Ok, so I've started watching season 2 and I must say, it's pretty awesome so far. I'm glad the whole repetition of the events leading up to the cotton drifting festival thing is rearing its head. I couldn't understand how the characters would die in different ways in the first season. It bugged me quite a bit. The subs I'm watching are pretty good too. Color coded so I know which character says what ^^

Sorry for the double post. An edit option on posts would be pretty useful to eliminate that.

Yeah, are you watching the subs from http://windfs.com ? They are the best for the series and color code the characters talking. So that's probably who you are watching from. xD

Like I said, WtC is a great series... and you really can't watch season 1 without seeing season 2, because it clears everything up.

No, I'm downloading it. They're subbed by WinD fansubs. The colours are the same as the character's hair so it's quite easy ^^ I'm still looking forward to a dub if there ever will be one but the subs will do for now.
